How to Make a Referral

At Vancouver Ophthalmology, our skilled eye specialists deliver comprehensive eye health services and present an array of vision enhancement solutions. Our services encompass the treatment of cataracts and ocular diseases.

Consultations and diagnostic evaluations with Dr. Heather O'Donnell and Dr. Stephanie Wise are scheduled upon receipt of a doctor or optometrist referral.

Information for Healthcare Providers

We accept referrals for comprehensive medical eye evaluations, cataract surgical consultations, and ocular disease management. Standard routine referrals are triaged by our physicians upon receipt.

If you are experiencing changes in your vision or require a specialist evaluation, please consult your optometrist or family physician to request a referral to Vancouver Ophthalmology. Once our clinic receives and triages your referral paperwork, our administrative team will contact you directly to schedule your appointment.

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Urgent & Emergency Care

Vancouver Ophthalmology offers urgent appointments within 2 weeks once triaged by our doctors. If a patient has an emergency condition requiring medical attention within 24 hours (such as sudden vision loss, acute onset double vision, acute trauma, severe eye pain, or suspected retinal detachment), they should be sent directly to the nearest Emergency Department.
